Honey Whole Wheat Pancakes

This is probably the easiest recipe I've ever made. Just follow the 2's!

2 C whole wheat flour
2 Tbs Wheat Germ
2 tsp Baking Powder
2 Tbs Coconut Oil
2 Tbs Stevia powder
2 eggs
2 C milk
2 squirts of honey

stir 20 times with spatula and let sit for 2 mins. (this is getting a little ridiculous isn't it? LOL)

No pics today, we ate them up really quick! And they are very moist and filling, I was very full after only 3 little ones.

Lately....

Wishing it were spring already. Been buying fresh flowers, my home smells of hyacinth and daisy. Just bought some materials to start my indoor garden, flowers and vegetables this year. Stay tuned for updates!

Fried Bread. Apparently this is the stuff of memories. It is warm and fluffy and oh so comfortable and soothing. It's been told that even a grown man of 52 years has fond memories of fresh fried bread from his childhood, and now I know why. For you dad.

Learning to sew. This is my first dress I've made for Madelyn. She didn't want to hold still for the pictures...this dress was made for twirling!

Taking Madelyn to dance class. She has her first recital in June. It's adorable!

I got a Wok!

And a merry anniversary to meeeee!

So I made General Tso's chicken and it was fabulous if I do say so myself. Poured it over Quinoa and even the kids licked their plates clean!

Who looks like who?

I've been told multiple times that Hudson looks like Jonas, and of course I see similarities, but I've always felt that Madelyn & Hudson look almost identical and now I have proof! This is Madelyn, Jonas & Hudson all at 3 months old....

My new addiction

COUPONS!!!

Known in the e-world as "q's or Qpons" it is oh so easy peasy to save loads of cash on your grocery bill! Every Thursday, the weekly fliers come to my house for the local shopping places. Every Sunday, I buy 3 papers full of Q's, and peruse all my favorite coupon printing websites - coupons.com, coolsavings, sallycoupons, pgesaver and I also get Q's thru mypoints and upromise, giving me extra points toward getting free gift cards and putting money away for college savings for the kiddos! This all takes maybe an hour out of my week and I only print Qpons for things that I use already, so that I don't go purchasing stuff extra. I have a 3 ring binder with photo sleeves that are labeled for easy finding of my Q's. I've just started doing this about a month ago, and I'm definitely not up there with the Queens of Q's, but I'm averaging a 50% savings on my last few shopping trips and it feels GREAT!

In fact, today, I got some great deals!

Yoplait yogurts were $10 for 20, and I had 3 Q's for $1 off 6, so I got them for 35 cents a piece when they normally run .85

General Mills cereal are 5 for $9, and I have $1 off 2 and some .75 off...after all the math I will be getting them for $1.30 a box and I have Q's for $1 off Fiber One cereal and they are 1.99 at Marsh....I can't believe I EVER paid full price for cereal!!! NEVER AGAIN! It's so not worth it!

Progresso Soups are 5 for $5 and I have some $3 off 6 and $1.10 on three, so I'm buying 15 cans of soup for $7.90 or .53 cents each!!!! I'm kicking myself for buying Campbells 2 weeks ago because this week they are .55 each and I HAD some Q's for $.50 off 2....DRAT!

Sargento String Cheese was $15.98 for 3 packages, they were 50% off and I had 3 Q's = $3 off so I got them for $4.92 which is a savings of $11.06!
Fiber One muffins were 2 for $5, I had Q's for .55 off each and they dbl'd my Q's up to $1 so I got both boxes for $3!!!

and my deal of the day!!!!
Fusion Razors (3 refills came with and one was with the battery too) They were $2 off at Kroger. I bought 2 of them orig. priced 11.13 & 9.98 (21.11) and had 2 $4 off Q's. I also had 2 Q's for free Gilette Bodywash and Shampoo with purchase of Razor (each priced $4.49 so $8.98) I had a eQ on my Kroger card for $2 any Gilette and PG&E was giving an extra $5 off if you purchase $25 of their products...are you still following this?? LOL.....So I got 2 razors, 3 refills, 1 bodywash & 1 shampoo for $2.11 when I WOULD have paid $30.11, which is a savings of 93%...if I only had more Q's I could go back and do this one again!

In total I spent $179.57 and saved $163.22, which is a 48% savings!!!
